The line has moved down from -18 to -16.5 for UTEP so folks are actually betting on SMU to cover!

I remember the game last year at UTEP when both teams started off really poorly but then SMU got hot and had a big half time lead only to [deleted] it away and eventually lose in overtime.

I just can't get excited about this team, but I guess if I am ever going to care, the first conference game is the place to do it. I will go ahead and hook the laptop up to the big screen and have a few beers and see how long we can hang in there.

UTEP announcers said Faye was out with a dislocated shoulder.

SMU did not commit a foul in the first half...don't know if I have ever seen that before. Has to be one of the quickest halfs in the history of basketball.
