I thought Weatherford College was the Kangaroos...did they change their nickname to the Coyotes, or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Pats season is over. He finished the season averaging 10 pts per game, and was Honorable Mention All- Conference. The player of year in the conference was Danny Geiger, a PG from Grayson.
He is a transfer from Utah State. Pats teammate Lamb Autry, another PG, was 1st team All Conference.

Do we have concern when one of the guys we are counting on to save the SMU program can only garner Honorable Mention in a JC league with very modest stats???????

I never saw them play, but if he's playing along side the 1st Team All Conference PG, was Pats running the show much or was it this Lamb Autry fella?

Reason for my question is to get a sense of what his situation was on the team and if he performed accordingly. Based on stats only his performance was modest. I have seen some mixed review comments posted at times and have little sense of the situation on that team.

Pats played off the ball for the most part and performed quite well. When looking at juco numbers, remember the kid was a frosh, not to mention new to this country. His focus could have been better, as I don't believe he wanted to be at CCCC, but I wouldn't sweat Pats on the court, when he matriculates. He has a high skill level
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

I saw Pats 6 or 7 times this season. He has a high basketball IQ. He is an excellent passer, pretty decent ball handler & an above avg. shooter. Some games I went to he looked very good. A couple of others he didn't bother to show up. His motor is the biggest question mark in my mind. He did struggle with some hip injury problems throughout the year & that may have limited his performance.
I was disappointed when he finished the season avg 10 pts & Honor Mention All Conference.
He is a much better talent than the numbers reflect.
