Re: Aliaksei PatsevichI thought Weatherford College was the Kangaroos...did they change their nickname to the Coyotes, or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Re: Aliaksei PatsevichThe 'Roos' of Weatherford High...BTW the next home game for CCCC to actually see Pats play is next Monday night the 18th at the Plano campus.
Re: Aliaksei Patsevich
someone remind me...if I take a right instead of a left on the way home, I may just drop by and check it out
Re: Aliaksei PatsevichI'll remind you as I plan on checking him out...at least its on my schedule.

Pats season is over. He finished the season averaging 10 pts per game, and was Honorable Mention All- Conference. The player of year in the conference was Danny Geiger, a PG from Grayson. He is a transfer from Utah State. Pats teammate Lamb Autry, another PG, was 1st team All Conference. "We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors."
Re: Aliaksei PatsevichDo we have concern when one of the guys we are counting on to save the SMU program can only garner Honorable Mention in a JC league with very modest stats???????
Re: Aliaksei Patsevich
I never saw them play, but if he's playing along side the 1st Team All Conference PG, was Pats running the show much or was it this Lamb Autry fella?
Re: Aliaksei Patsevich
Reason for my question is to get a sense of what his situation was on the team and if he performed accordingly. Based on stats only his performance was modest. I have seen some mixed review comments posted at times and have little sense of the situation on that team.
Re: Aliaksei PatsevichPats played off the ball for the most part and performed quite well. When looking at juco numbers, remember the kid was a frosh, not to mention new to this country. His focus could have been better, as I don't believe he wanted to be at CCCC, but I wouldn't sweat Pats on the court, when he matriculates. He has a high skill level
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones
Re: Aliaksei Patsevichweatherford uses a giant rabbit as their mascott but they call it a kangaroo.
Re: Aliaksei PatsevichI saw Pats 6 or 7 times this season. He has a high basketball IQ. He is an excellent passer, pretty decent ball handler & an above avg. shooter. Some games I went to he looked very good. A couple of others he didn't bother to show up. His motor is the biggest question mark in my mind. He did struggle with some hip injury problems throughout the year & that may have limited his performance.
I was disappointed when he finished the season avg 10 pts & Honor Mention All Conference. He is a much better talent than the numbers reflect. "We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors."
