Is there any reason that we should read anthing into this?

I saw this mentioned in the game thread for HOU Babtist - also reported in the DMN.

I know the history - if we are seriously considering the Billy G's of the world, might as well add Bliss to the list . . .

I don't think he can recruit anymore unless he goes to a state penitentiary. Very sad story as he was a very good coach!

I'm pretty sure Dave Bliss isn't allowed to coach without giving the school giving the NCAA some pretty awesome edible arrangements....

It sure was fun watching games at Moody his last season as our head coach.............

No, Bliss wont coach in college again. I did a double take when I saw him in the hallway, wasnt sure it really was him until Ira Terrell confirmed it. Dont know why he was visiting, but he's not coming back, not here or any other university.

He is on a show-cause order until 2015...

I wonder how many coaches would be similarly ruined if their private staff meetings were secretly recorded like Bliss's. I'm certainly not defending his actions, just wondering if he's really the singular Satan he's made out to be.

I was thinking the same thing. And that probably goes for many other vocations as well

Looks like he has been to at least one other SMU game this year. Maybe he just enjoys quality basketball?

I looked up his Wikipedia - didn't realize Koncack flat out said he was paid too. What a sorry SOB Bliss is.
