Mustang Football Team To Be Honored At Wednesday's Basketball Game
Hawai'i Bowl Champions To Get Halftime Recognition On Jan. 27

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU Mustang football team will be recognized at halftime of the SMU-UCF men's basketball game at Moody Coliseum on Wednesday, Jan. 27. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The 2009 Mustangs finished the season 8-5 after a 45-10 win over Nevada in the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl. The Mustangs had entered the Bowl season as the biggest underdog in any Bowl game yet finished with the largest margin of victory in all Bowls played. The bowl with the first for SMU in 25 years and capped a season which also included a Conference USA Western Division Co-Championship and the nation's biggest turnaround.

All the more reson for ALL of us to go to this game and cheer all the Stangs on.......will be there!

why didn't they do this on Saturday vs Memphis instead??? It was flat out awkward with such a sparse crowd for a midweek game against UCF.
