From the Memphis Commercial Appeal:

Though SMUâ€™s students rushed the court after their teamâ€™s victory, C-USA does not have an automatic fine, as there is in the SEC. Because the students were held back until the Memphis players and coaches cleared the court, C-USA officials in attendance alerted SMU that the school was compliant with league policy.

Were they really held back until everyone cleared?

Maybe I was in a daze for a few minutes because we won, but I thought the bleachers cleared almost immediately.

Security attempted to hold us back....I was out there when UM players were on the court.
