BCG is a flake. I could see him getting canned from here after getting pulled over for a DUI up on Yale Blvd., or bolting for greener pastures after a slight turnaround in the program, since he would be coaching without a contract once again.

smu has to pay whether he stays or goes. looks like a wash in terms of dough.

they got rid of jimmy for no reason at all but the same bunch can't pull the trigger on doh?

my guess is that doh sealed his fate last night. he's a nice guy and all that but we needs wins so fair weather fans like me will come back.

Well if the buyout would indeed be for 2 seasons, not 1, and his salary doesn't see any ridiculous declines like this year, then we're talking about a little over $1 million...

Men's Basketball Head Coach Matt Doherty is the third highest paid employee at SMU with total compensation coming to $546,229. Doherty's compensation decreased more than 30 percent from the 2007 fiscal year.
