Dickeys coming to Moody soon?

No, not the overrated barbecue place.

UTEP is reportedly targeting Randall Dickey, while UH will be interviewing his brother, James Dickey, today.

Those hires would lack some teeth, if they happened. Jones to UCF doesn't exactly scare me either. Lebo to ECU is meh too

James Dickey — the old Texas Tech coach?

Had an interesting encounter with him when I was a student. I was sitting with some friends, giving him hell about his last name (because we were so mature ... just like now), and after a timeout, he came into the stands. I thought he was going to knock me out. Instead, he shook my hand, and said a comment I had just made was funny ... especially because his team was up by 30 with a minute to go.

Strange — I didn't think it was that funny at that point.
