what a comedian. I can't believe we gave a coach from Florida Atlantic Polytechnic a 7 year guaranteed deal.

5 year deal, two rolled over when the admin/AD didn't live up to its end of the deal. Doh had a good lawyer, who knew we wouldn't commit

I wonder how contentious this year might have been. Did Doh do a preemptive strike, maybe by circling that provision in his contract and faxing it anonymously to Orsini? With stars drawn on either side?

Doherty's contract had auto extension clauses based on administration accomplishing certain things by certain check points. Apparently, some of these checkpoints were not met which resulted in an extension of Doh's contract. It is also thought that Doherty's getting Crum built triggered a 1 year extension.
