i thought the whole show was pretty sickening. Let me get this straight, you held an announement at the Boys & Girls Club of American to basically indicate: its all about winning/championships, doing what your friends do, living the party life in Miami, and of course money. Great message for the kids Lebron. He didn't even have the common sense to start out by profusely thanking Cleveland. Lebron did himself a big disservice last nite and whoever is on "his team"/entourage managing "his talents" seriously gave him some bad advice.

yup. I'd love for somehow the Cavaliers to take out the Heat in the playoffs next year.
Heat traded Beasely too. Who are they gonna surround those three with?

I despise Lebron, and can't wait til Wade takes the Bron brand and dumps all over it.

It is now clear to everyone (as Dan Gilbert wrote) Lebron threw the Boston series.
I hope they never win a title in Miami.

Another reason why I enjoy college hoops much
more than the NBA.

NBA overall is pretty disinteresting. I didn't watch one dribble of the Finals and didn't feel like I missed anything.

Didn't watch it. Too busy reading about our new commit.
Must say, the way Cleveland's owner handled the announcement was good for Lebron and bad for Cleveland. The owner looks like a jerk and what decent player is going to be excited about playing for an owner who will bad mouth you as soon as you leave?

He was a free agent and gave the Cavs 8 years to try and build a team around him. They failed, he left by the rules and took a huge pay cut to pursue a dream. My personal belief is that this dream cannot succeed as they will not have enough $$$$$ to build any team around the triumvate and that they will be eliminated by the 2d round.

My personal belief is that they will be able to build a team around those 3. They already picked up Miller who can rain 3's like it is his job.... Heck it will be his job. I think it was a completely disrespectful thing of him to do, but Cleveland sucks as a team and as a city. At least they can win at something, being the most unfortunate city in the nation. Theyve had "The Drive" "The Disappointments" now they endured "The Wrath of Lebron, and total destruction of a city on national television"
