Fine, I'll be the sour puss and say I much rather have us nab every quality prospect Lutz goes after. I'd much rather have Groselle. Gotta love the congrats to others at our expense.

We'd have all liked Groselle, but the reality is that Doh didn't want Big Red, or he would have offered a year ago. The fact that we didn't offer was never on Lutz/Brown or anyone else, all Doh. They would have offered, just sayin. The sad fact is that Lutz is going to raid this area for a minute, cause he's no longer held back, and can move when he needs to.

I've got to stop coming over to the basketball board for a while, it's starting to weigh no me and ruin my good vibes from Football. It's a freaking roller coaster...admissions, recruiting, schedule, twitter, vacations etc.

I want so bad to see Moody rocking again and for us to play meaningful games in February.

I suspect that you will have a lot of company year after next when the doh-doh bird has become extinct and we have a real coach.

FWIW, I think Lutz may lead or be top 2 for Dvon Campbell & Austin Chatman. He's sneaking up on Keaton Miles too. I bet Creighton makes hay in Houston this year as well.

If it were only that simple. IF Vilde and/or Smith are cleared, the guy has a legit shot at winning enough games to return.

Thats a shame, I knew Geoff's mom when we were in school. Was kind of hoping he'd come here.

Seems like just about everyone- fans, assistant coaches, AND Grosselle, wanted him at SMU, but 1 person didn't- Doherty. There are going to be a lot of people upset when/if Groselle turns out to be a player and the only reason he isn't at SMU is bc Doherty vetoed it. Lutz certainly won't be one of those people!
