What happened to the thread about the recruits that were here this weekend?

You aren't supposed to talk to or interact with recruits. If people who were SMU boosters had actually approached the recruits you mentioned and tried to engage them in conversation or attempted to sway them to commit to your school, it would be an NCAA violation.

My guess would be that someone saw you were encouraging fans (unintentionally, I'm assuming) to commit what would be a recruiting violation.

that's cute, but if they were going to be that letter of the law anal, they probably shouldn't actually set up a tailgate. That's almost the entire point. Our compliance is the worst in sports. Hoops haters...

I saw Doherty on the boulevard before the football game. While his tenure here has been an absolute failure, I do appreciate the fact that he understands and appreciates the campus environment, participates in it and supports it.

Doh is better suited for a fund raising gig...

Yeah. Guy can recruit. He proved that in his stints as an assistant.

Really...Doh can recruit California well as he proved at Kansas....he has connections out there....Mangino will do just fine...

seriously, w/Mangino in charge of O & D, I'm actually looking forward to some execution for a rare change. Just let Doh do his thing out West.

We need a few impact verbals soon. Getting nervous, and there is supposedly no visitors for a home game vs. a Pac 10 team this weekend.

Prob a good think...hot weather plus day game = no attendence...

Grab them and make sure they are at TCU game...
