On Wednesday it should be official with the Kimball, Arlington Lamar, Houston area and San Diego kids.

I'm looking forward to learning more about them.

anti-climatic, patton. Just pay attention during the recruiting wars, far more fun. The real deal is who is # 5? You'd have to think we're on that white elephant hunt again. There is basically no time in the rotation next year for an average kid, so he better be good

That's a little misleading.

Rivals teasers indicate 2 letters are in and say this:
Three-star guard Ryan Manuel could have gone to any of a dozen schools around the country but on Wednesday, he signed with SMU.

Apparently 4* Cunningham is the other.

Two have signed and sent in...the others havent yet, as its not convenient.....4 will sign....I look forward to who the #5 will be...Doh you are right...it better be good because if its a middling player,,,,it will be tough to find playing time here.

According to ESPN's grading system they are all mid major not high major prospects. Do you agree?

Why no announcement on those that have officially signed? Only a rumor that two have signed and the others found it inconvenient. A bit suprising isn't it?

Harry- I understand that Rivals has it. My comment was that I am suprised that no 'official' announcement has been made. i.e. when the football signings are coming in it is a big deal with lots of announcements.

GO PONIES!!!

Don't go by grade, cause ESPN doesn't have the resources yet in hoops recruiting. Grabbing Telep was a good move. If anything, go by offers. Cunningham had a slew of high major offers, and Jones/Manuel had very high mid offers. That said, Norman is a low major talent that is quite skilled for this system, so we took a chance on shooting & passing. I'd rather do that, than reach on a run/jump athlete that can't play.

redpony, its a week long signing period. 3 have signed and the 4th signs today. The ink isn't even dry on two of them. I'm sure the SID will release something in the next week.
