not sure why this isn't getting more attention nationally but I was surprised to see that UCF is undefeated at 13-0, ranked #18 and the bigger story that they are led by soph guard Marcus Jordan, son of the Greatest. MJ Jr is avg 16 pts and shooting 45% from behind the arc. btw, had 25 tonite against Marshall.

I said something about it a week ago. The place is new and looks like 20 million bucks. After just leaving Moody well forget that.
Another interesting story with BOTH MJ's kids at UCF They had a contract with a major shoe company and broke it paid the fine because the MJ kids only wear there dads shoes so does the team.

Not surprised by the shoe thing at all.

Marcus was very athletic and had a lot of potential, more than his bro who transferred from walk on at U of Illinois...
Watched both play in high school up here...Marcus is still a touch small, but he has been training with Grover since he could walk...

I am still shocked they are so good. Last year, when we played UCF at Moody we won by 20, and they were friken awful.
Oh well, props to them! Rep C-USA [unlike Memphis last night].

I agree, not impressed when they were at Moody. But there were also very streaky last year with very good games and very poor games.

Certainly not the way they're looking this year, so far.

Sorry about my comments regarding UCF that I had posted earlier. I had a terrible experience with their fans at the C-USA Championship Game in Orlando. They were a rough crowd and extremely hostile to the people I was with, but that does not give me the right to verbally attack an entire university. I recant my comments and I am sincerely apologetic to anyone I offended. It was a classless move on my part.

SMU1523 wrote:UCF = Classless, is it really even considered a university? I think it would be better not to have a degree at all, than have a degree from UCF... At least you don't have to admit your a giant joke if you don't have a degree...

I liked you better with a set
I warned everyone the student fans are every bit as bad as Tech.
We make an effort to go out of our way to make away fans feel at home at 33.
It takes two to have fun.
