Just to be clear, I've only seen Keaton a handful of times, but he's never struck me as a sure fire high major. After watching him disappear and do nothing vs Findlay today, I'm pretty convinced Huggy Bear & Billy Hahn will drop him at the curb by this time next year. In the interest of rumor-mongering on behalf of SMU basketball, welcome home Keaton..lol

Not sure your assessment is all that relevant.

well, I've known Billy Hahn for a mighty long time, and his assessment of Keaton is likely to be ugly. Not wishing him ill will or anything, as I hope he thrives, but it's clear to most anyone who pays attention, that the Big East is a stretch. He'd be much better in CUSA, MVC or even MWC. He'd be a nice addition down the line

PonyDoh's comments re: Miles are right on the money. I was watching the game thinking the exact same thing. Same thing with Roger Franklin from Duncanville, now @ Okla State.

I wouldnt mind SMU being the place guys like this come home to roost. Hopefully Williams and Giles will help us create a rep for something like that

as near as I can tell, he has signed w/ WVU. PonyDoh doesnt think his skill set is up to par for a Big East school. So, he thinks Huggins may run him off in a year or less. If so, Pony Up Mr. Keaton

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nolan Dennis @ Baylor on the transfer list in a few months. I'm sure he's enjoying his 9 minutes per game & 4 DNP's so far this season. Yeah, its cool to tell everyone you play in the Big 12 or the Big East. Then reality sits in & you realize you are sitting on the pine & your dream is wasting away. As I mentioned earlier, keep an eye on Roger Franklin @ Okie State. Williams teammate @ Duncanville.

Another large recruiting class next season sets up well for another D1 transfer.

Has this been this case with a lot of DFW kids in the past 5 years? Going Big conference only to ride pine? -- Didn't UNT get a couple?

papa just mentioned Nolan Dennis who most think will be at UNT in a few months. Cory Jefferson is another that reportedly wants to leave Baylor. Roger Franklin and Reger Dowell are others at OSU, both played w/Williams at Duncanville. I wouldn't want Dowell, though. He's not that good and he's long had that 'team cancer' rep.

My personal favorite that I would like to see transfer to SMU would be Denison's TJ Taylor.
Taylor transferred from OU to Paris JC. Rumor has it he wants to be close to home.
