Great story line two former Carolina basketball players now HC's facing off. Can you say league parity ... at this point it would appear that any of the top 10 C-USA teams can beat one another on any given night. Fun to watch!

Jeff Lebo has really turned our program around some of the players to watch are Darrius Morrow, Jontae Sherrod, Brock Young, Jamar Abrams, and Corvoon Gaines. We've won our 3 out of 4 and have come back from 15 down twice to win in the final 10 seconds.

Here's the last 4 minutes of the Houston game played Saturday night. I'm looking for a great game with lots of action.

Brock Young is one guy I was really impressed with when we last faced them. Last year, he was one of the top guys in D1 in APG (7-9 APG), although this year they are down considerably to 4.5. Doh said when he recruited Jfrog that he believed he would be in the mold of Young.


ECU is a much improved ball club, and I see this coming down to the wire.

One thing that we really have going for us is our ability to make FTs down the stretch. If the game comes down to who makes their FTs, we know who will win. (see Tulsa game).

Let's go 5-3!

Heard the Dallas/Fort Worth area has been hit hard by an ice storm????? Our team is scheduled to depart this afternoon on US Airways enroute to Dallas. Looks like the airport is closed due to the winter storm.

What's the forecast for later today into tomorrow?

Wouldn't surprise me if this game was delayed. Acc. to Buster Olney's twitter, flights are being diverted to Houston, and people are having to drive up. Talk about a miserable 4 hour drive.

That could an option for us (fly to Houston and bus) but not sure if we could pull off the logistical gymnastics to make that happen. I see where nationwide 4500 flights have been cancelled because of the storm.

Don't think you would want your team on a bus with the roads like they are. Better to be safe.

you can just fly up Wed and play us later the same day - not a problem.

So IF, and that's a giant if, the game is played tomorrow who is going to make the official game thread? '94 is on sabbatical.

Will be interesting to hear. DFW is closed, flight cancelled. Flying to Austin is closer.
Temps are going to stay in the 20's today. No more ice or snow in the forecast.
Maybe they can get out later today hopefully.

I just saw a flight tracker on my weather site which showed flights landing ontime. They are going to do everything they can to open the runways because of the Super Bowl
