I think 19 wins is certainly possible for this team. They have proven they can play with anyone in this league.

4-2 is the goal....could swap a loss here or a win there.

Thing is, this team could go 6-0 the final six games, or just as easliy go 0-6. This is a tough league, sure we are not the Big East, but there are 12 pretty decent teams with no one dominating.

All game should be close and hopefully we can avoid injury and stay cool with all our upperclassman.

2-6....expected
3-3.....not bad
4-2.....would be awesome
5-1.....Here we go
6-0.....10 year extension for Doh!!!!!!!

Hoping for 4-2, realistic 3-3

I think Tulsa comes into Moody with something to prove.
Don't know anything about Marshall, UCF is a complete mystery to me after being very good in OOC.
Would be great to beat UTEP at home after that stinging loss. I think I've decided I really don't like Floyd.

3-3 is great in my book, 4-2 even better!

We just need to make some noise in the tourney.

Would be so awesome if we could finish in the top 4 and get a bye...probably won't happen...but it could!

I agree with you - just too unpredictable. Anyone in this league can beat anyone right now, lots of parity.

road wins are hard to come by and beating UTEP in Dallas (where they will bring half the crowd) will be a tall order. 18 regular season wins will be a real accomplishment

I'd be ecstatic w/3-3, but will take anything if we keep playing this organized.

We will play Houston in an empty arena and we are playing our best basketball right now. The UTEP game will be tough but in the end it was our team getting rattled that was our undoing last night. The game in Dallas may have a good amount of UTEP fans, but there won't be 10,000 like last night

CalallenStang as you know It won't be the 'final' record as there is still CUSA Tournament game (s) as well but I think its a 18 win regular season and either 1 more win in the tournament or 2 wins, which could get SMU a 20 win season for the first time in who knows how long?....( 20-13?)
BTW where is Calallen anyway?

True, I should have put regular season record. And Cslallen is in far western Corpus Christi, along the Nueces River. You take 37 from downtown, go about 15 miles, and you're in Calallen

While they only need to win 3 of the next 6 to meet my revised prediction of 9-7 in conference, I really think they can win them all. I am going to the Houston game, so that one scares me but I think we will win. I also like us at home against Rice. I think we should be able to defend home court, but Tulsa will be hungry for revenge. UTEP at home will also be a handful. UCF has mailed it in, aside from their 1 point win against Tulsa las night. I also think Marshall is beatable. That said, I agree that 4-2 is very likely.

For me, just get one more W to clinch a winning season and then go from there.

You have to walk before your run.
