Congratulations to the team and the coaching staff. Keep it going and see how the rest of it plays out.

To me, the dominating win over Southern Miss really spurred this. The Memphis thing was a surprise. The win over USM put the credibility into what we are seeing.

Keep up the good work.

BTW, I'm out for Tulsa :(. The 4th grade post has a game 3 p.m.

A dominating win. Great win by the Ponies. First win on the road in C-USA play going wire to wire w/o trailing. A potential conference tourney run?!?

Sure hope so....like most long time SMU hoops fans, this still has the feel of being on borrowed time, but we seem to keep playing better every game, so we will see.

Harp is #2 on the team in blocks. Freaky.

That is freaky!

All good pony fans hold their breath when he comes in...he is supposedly a defensive specialist..who cant play defense...and he looks like a baby bird that fell out of the nest when he is on offense.

BUT, he has looked much better of late and we need him to sub in for the starters...Pretty funny to see him play Papa's spot but it has been working.

AND, he has hit his open shots and has limited the turnovers.

Rock on Harp!!!!!

It was interesting what Coach said at post game about Harp. When Houston went to their big game, Harp would come in and play the high post and make the Cougar big guys chase him around. He is becoming a really good 6th man role player. Not great stats, but does a lot of the little things good teams need.

My favorite moments from the UH color guy, in the space of two minutes:

1) Color guy: UH is making these guys look like 40% 3-pt shooters (griping)
Play by play guy: Well, they do shoot 41% as a team...

2) Color guy: UH is making this big guy look like an all-conference player (talking about Dia)
Me (to myself): Well, he is an all conference player, so...
