Houston Chronicle's Take on the Game

Because it was a road game and the DMN will rely on the AP story....Things will change when are in the big dance and shock them all!

I can vaguely remember SMU winning at Houston when Ross was a freshman and had a good game and Albert Brooks was the UH coach. Was that the last the game that all publications mention that we won in Houston in 1999 or is my memory shot?
It was even out of conference because we were in the WAC at the time and Houston was in C-USA.

First win at Houston since 99. First win IN Houston since we played Rice.

The win on the road was HUGE. We really needed that to boost some confidence in these next upcoming games.
