What happened was the tickets they sold me for today's game were actually for last weeks game. They went into the wrong date when ordering. Mistakes happen. How they are handled is important, and it was handled well.
But I do wonder how 8 seats in prime season ticket holder area are taken by TU students. Ponyte and I moved back to LL to get away from them and to be at the SMU shooting end for the 2nd half.

It was good seeing y'all even if you did jinx us. Had fun at Ozona's with the whole crew. Too bad we didn't get over the hump today.

Athletic Dept. should give you $5,000.00 per ticket for your inconvenience (game ticket, travel, lodging, meals)

That is exactly what Bob did, which is why we thanked him.
Seriously, the person that made the error, who I will not name, is not a member of the ticket office. No one answered in the ticket office when I called to make the ticket purchase, and the phone rolled to another department. I know this person and this person does a wonderful job for SMU athletics. As I said early, mistakes happen. It is how they are handled that matter and I came away pleased with the experience.

I think a class action lawsuit is called for here. You say you are "pleased" now... but what about several months down the road when the mental anguish and nightmares control your life?

Some how I think ponyT's sun burned head is also a ticket office issue , that is pain and suffering beyond reasonable doubt.

BTW, for all of you that do not like Bob Sharp for all the things he posts under the name of Varsity Shop, please refer to Varsity Shop's post on July 8, 2003 when he lists in his post "Varsity Shop A.K.A. Insane Pony Posse" I think a lot of people have the misconception that Varsity Shop is Bob Sharp but he actually posts under a different name on this site. I will let him tell you his name if he ever wants to but do not condemn a man for a crime he does not commit.

He would never collect. His brain was fried many years ago and the compensatory damages would be nil.
