Well,

This team showed that they can play with anyone in the conference, we will not get blown out, but, we may not have the firepower to finish and win it.

We have had some tough losses here lately...Does not matter....we gain a bit more maturity, another game to learn the offensive and defensive schemes.

Let's make some noise in the tournament and win all those close games there.

I'm all for that. Unfortunately, SMU will make noise in the tournament only if the band gets to go.

To go and play two of the league's hottest teams away back to back and to lose by a collective 5 points shows how much this team has grown. Furthermore, as was clear from Doh's post game interview he was pissed (especially at Robert). We expect to win these games now.

Let's meet those expectations next week.

I like the tone of this thread. Appreciate what this team has done, despite overwhelming odds, get fired up for UTEP & the tourney. After that, lock n load, cause pretty much no excuses next year. We'll have the horses to run w/Top 25 clubs, not to mention CUSA. We'll have growing pains, but we'll also be rebuilt. This season is a tasty appetizer.

Love the effort these guys put in, and how they've bought into the system. Its just tough stringing road wins together w/2 scorers, especially when neither can manufacture their own looks.

hopefully the "fab four" saw what the system did for players with less talent than theirs and are also believers in what the coaches have installed and buy into from day 1.

I LOVED Doh's substitution (or lack there of) pattern tonight..the starters played.

Shawdow man - and the end result with the starters playing was a lost game. Glad you liked his sub patterns. I would have if we would have won. Playing 8 players has helped us to 17 wins. Am I missing something? Have you checked the box score on Turnovers, etc.

Shadowman, your logic? If we win, we will play three games in three days. Hey, let's not sub. Good move! Are you kidding me? We beat Rice twice by playing 8-9 players this season. Name me one coach in the country that plays just 5 players. We can agree to disagree but you really need to evaluate that statement.
