All are rumored invites, many have accepted. CIT is basically a mid-major tourney, while CBI Mixes both high majors and mids in. Since we're hosting, and they tend to keep things regional to start, my bet is Oral Roberts
Furman
Air Force
Oral Roberts
Idaho
San Francisco
Portland
Northern Iowa
Hawaii
SMU
Santa Clara
Marshall
Tenn Tech
Rider
Davidson
ETSU
Quinnipiac
Rider

go away, that's a pretty darn good mid-major tourney so far, but you wouldn't know. I'd kill the play the Santa Clara's, Portland, Northern Iowa's etc. Nothing but positives about playing those types of games. Heck, same w/ORU

I'd love to find a matchup with Northern Iowa. They were in the NCAA last year (I think they pulled an upset in the tournament). MVC is a good BB conference.
And I think their AD Rick Hartzell is still a BB official and was being mentioned for the SMU AD job before it went to Orsini.

Oral Roberts beat Rice, if that says anything. Scott Sutton is a decent coach. Not an easy task for us.
This team has no cojones lately, so we'll see.

I think they pummeled UALR once by like 30 too

you must not pay attention to NCAA invites; they've danced more recently than SMU has

Obviously an evil, illegitimate spawn of Paul Quinn. Made bigger and stronger after our manhandling of Paul a few years ago.

I think they're in the same conference with Vermont, Albany, etc.

Wrong: Quinnipiac is in the conference with Long Island, which just won the NEC. Long Island is a team that some people think can win a game in the tournament.

Northeast Conference with LIU, Robert Morris and others you've rarely heard about. Most play in small gyms (3-5,000 seats) that are usually packed for bball games
