Question: Which team winning gives CUSA the best chance of getting 2 in the ncaa tourney?

Id guess UTEP ,if only because Memphis has name recognition that would give the cmte pause to look more closely, vs just skimming over UTEP.

I think the answer to your question is Memphis, because it makes UAB's two losses to Memphis not look as bad

I think we want UTEP to win. UTEP is in the west division, Memphis would still get consideration, UAB is done regardless of the outcome.

about as good a showcase as CUSA has. Two good teams played a very good game. They both deserve a bid. No way UTEP isn't a top 68 team, none

That was a really good fun game to watch....both teams should go dancing.....the NCAA committee would be hard pressed not to have UTEP go with a really good team with a marque player like Culpepper. The only time Memphis was ahead in the game was the last 7 seconds...Pastner is a very cool collected coach and so damn young.

I guess if you weren't happy with calling our win over Memphis last season a signature win, the one this year should definitely qualify. That's 2 consecutive years we've beaten the CUSA tournament champions.
