Memphis and UAB to the NCAAs
UTEP to NIT
UCF to CBI
SMU, Marshall, ECU to CIT.
Tulsa and Southern Miss declined invites to the CBI and CIT after not receiving an NIT bid.

NIce that 7 teams will be in post season play and a potential nine teams had a chance. I wish we were in the NCAA or NIT bt all in all a good season and a nice reward for the team.

USM actually said, publicily and officially, that they were offered the #1 seed in both tournaments but turned it down due to "academics" and not missing any more class.
Feeling from USM fans is though, that they had no budget for it. Really a shame for the conference, we could have boasted 9 of the 12 teams in post season play.
Oh well, time for SMU to get on a winning streak, next loss is definitely it!
