And I gotta tell you, it got pretty intense in the final 5 minutes of regulation and then in overtime. It mattered to the kids on both teams. They played to win the game.

I don't know about you, but it's kinda cool knowing your school just won a postseason tournament game.

I could care less about that. I don't think the teams that traveled to NCAA tournament sites had their airfare, hotels and meals comped by the NCAA.

We didn't even really pay for a home game - we just guaranteed a certain amount of dollars.

Hopefully we are moving enough tickets to make some money along the way.

I agree though - it's fun to have SMU playing ball in March and it's good for the program (and great for the seniors).

I'm happy they're getting a chance to extend their season, and it was an exciting game last night.

I am out of the country but will be following game tracker on Saturday. Hope that there is a good home crowd for the Ponies and that we advance to the next round.

Coming into this season knowing that we would not have Losh, Vilde, Smith, no one saw this year ending in a post season berth, even a much less prestigious tournament (CIT or otherwise). The team has played well and accomplished a very respectable season that is still going. I am proud as a fan and happy for all the players. Now let's go win another on Saturday!

I don't know about that, but I will do my share of loudness personified...no refs call will be accepted and no SMU basket will be left silent...the few the proud! Should be fun...
