What was the purpose for posting this?
Can you explain yourself here and why you would post something from a source that cited The Observer?
This was discussed the weekend of the CUSA tournament. If memory serves, I think the NCAA already accepted SMU's self-imposed penalties in the school's announcement. There was nothing here and it only rehashed what was done.
Help me understand.

I have supported Stallion numerous times for his knowledge regarding recruiting, but he is definitely a hater and has an agenda.

Hey [deleted] this is news. The NCAA doesn't have to accept SMU's proposed sanctions. The NCAA often adds additional sanctions. Are you really so threatened by the truth?

So help me understand the difference between what you posted and what I'm posting on a story from three weeks ago:
http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/colleg ... etball.eceThe second graph of the story says that NCAA ACCEPTED SMU's self-imposed sanctions and has quotes from the NCAA in the story.
So what are we talking about here?
BTW, I'm just curious to find out if the NCAA did not accept this penalty and SMU appealed and you got an alert about it, would you have posted items on this all the the way through?
I would hope that you would. YOU FOLLOW THE ENTIRE STORY.
FYI -- We're pretty fine with the truth. We also know how to sniff out agendas, too.
I'm very disappointed in you for this.

I just hope we don't dog it in football, or the drive-bys will be insufferable for Stallion & co. Oh yeah, hoops posters don't drive by the football board, just the other way around.
What happens to guys like Stallion, if by this time next year, basketball has the healthier program?

You are very disturbed. Like I said earlier, when you make a good post I usually support it. In this case the articles that had been posted earlier already stated that the NCAA had accepted SMU's self-imposed sanctions so what is new about the link you posted???? You may be over 40, but are definitely not a man as there is no need for cursing on the board. I also don't consider you a fan of SMU basketball as what is the purpose of rehashing the negativity??? You really need to get a life.

Any time SMU is mentioned in a major media outlet like foxsports it is post-worthy, old news or not.

Honestly, aren't the people calling out someone else for posting old news showing just as much jackassery as the people posting the old news?

Am I now a [deleted] for pointing out that the people who are calling out the original [deleted] are also jackasses?

jackassery and jackasses - not swear words
[deleted] - swear word
