Posted: Fri Apr 08, 2011 3:49 pmAs has been mentioned here already, SMU forward Leslee Smith suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and knee bruise in a pick-up game. An MRI confirmed the injury, which will be repaired surgically in a couple of weeks, after initial swelling goes down.
The early prognosis is that Smith will be out for about six months, putting him back on the floor in early October, before preseason practice begins for the 2011-12 season.
