The press release does address some of the major concerns by fans (i.e. concourse, seating, and adding premium seating areas). Says the total amount of the renovation will be around 40 million.

The question then becomes: where is the OTHER $40 mil going? It is doubtful that engineering firm was off by double on their website.

Moody Coliseum also has been the venue for bands such as the Rolling Stones, Three Dog Night, the Grateful Dead, Queen, U2 and Pearl Jam

I saw R.E.M. there in 1989.

Yes, new student seating, wider concourses, new concession stands, the north wall will be moved out and will be raised to allow for suites and club type seating, etc..............

It was a great concert. Definately a highlight of freshman year without football.
