Eric Norman in a Dunk Contest?

Total skill guy, great for the princeton, but supposedly underathletic, and a little bit of a plodder. Knew the San Diego All Star game was this weekend, but didn't see that at Eric's setting. LOw & behold, he was in the dunk contest. He wouldn't beat Jalen, but he has a little more bounce than I thought. Go us.

Ummm, Norman won player of the game, another head-scratcher in an all star game. Here's the article & the video. Norman gets a nice flush, and several 3s. Make no mistake, the kid is wet from distance. Great stat line 17 pts, 13 boards, 3 blocks or so. Also, he's not light anymore. He needs an elite performance trainer, but he had far more bounce than I originally thought, and he's a bigger/stronger body, that's still developing.

For the princeton, he's a great scout and a steal.

The thing about Norman is he just keeps improving. You watch his most recent video compared to last seasons & the kid has made a huge jump. Picture him with 10-15 more lbs, quicker, & stronger & you have something. Another Jay Poerner type?

I thought the same thing. Pretty weak uni imo. Let's hope they were wearing their practice jerseys, lol.
