If it is a 2000, its been out of production for about 10 years.

Looks sharp. Maybe it can flyover Moody for the demo/renovation ceremony when that project officially starts. :)

actually there are some very nice private prop planes. I have had access to one of the biggest private airparks around-and a bunch of the corporate planes parked there are propeller planes

Yeah. That plane would be just about right to handle the team, coaches, staff, and the fans that regularly attend the home games.

It looks nice come recruiting too. Now we just need 'new U' uniforms

So brand new that plane was 12-15 million. Maybe it says 'smu swimming' on the other side

Ouch. If we had access to that much, we would be digging a hole on Bishop, not parking it on a tarmac.

:P

So is this really SMU's plane? Why is the paint job and background photo-shopped?

From a cost/practicality standpoint it makes more sense to charter a plane to each game rather than having to house and maintain a plane year round. If this is a SMU Basketball specific plane, I guess we can look forward to following Doh on Twitter during his worldwide Starbucks and Mi Cocina tour.
