Gary never played the game with Big Shoe and AAU and it did cost him some success. No need to look backwards - who will MD hire?

Miller/Dixon/Wright/Brey will be early frontrunners.

Nothing happened. Gary outlasted Yow, so he could get his stamp on the hire, will move to associate AD, and the schools head fundraiser type. He got married a month or so back, hates the new industry recruiting, just lost his marquee big to the draft, and has nothing in the cupboard next year.

Now, go watch him hire one the candidates that turned Yow down, and he's won

Heard someone mention Rick Barnes tonight. Would he go there and does he have any ties to Maryland?

They don't want Barnes. So far, confirmed interest from Stevens, Wright, Miller, Dixon, Brey, Anthony Grant

Miller would be interesting. Would open up Arizona for Pastner.

I'm guessing the Terp faithful would be pretty pleased if Maryland hires Stevens.

They are nervous about Stevens never coaching in a real league. Remarkable runs in last two tourneys, but he's never proven to recruit at an elite level etc. Fan base thinks Sean Miller should be the guy, and Miller has always been adamant about wanting the Terp job. We'll see.

who was the interim coach at U of A who felt slighted when Miller got the gig? Miller to the Terps, dude who felt slighted to U of A.

or

Pastner to U of A, UCF on probation, Memphis to transition again, and SMU takes its rightful place as the gem of CUSA hoops. We'll need to schedule up to help the RPI. lol
