Steve Alford is wrong!

I love him because he played for Bob Knight. But the UTEP-UNM rivaly really needs to keep going. That NIT game at The Pit was fun. It was one of the postseason games that I looked forward to watching the most.

Maybe Doherty and Alford are still talking?

Alford is being a complete and total [deleted]. That said, and I've illustrated it many times on this board, but the backyard brawl no longer works in today's hoops climate. UTEP vs UNM should always be a game, but I'm willing to bet there is more to this. Its personal between the head guys and not b/c of a shoot around time at the NIT game.
