Any word on the Moody renovation?

One day, out of the blue, SMU announces a $40 million Moody renovation project and a lead gift of $20 million. About five minutes later, SMU announces another gift of $10 million for the project. And then. . .nothing. Any word on where this project stands or what the timeline is? I would think having pledges in hand worth $30 million towards a $40 million project would be enough to get the ball rolling.

Takes awhile to get the architects and engineers to get the plan together and then bid it out.........

I don't think starting before this basketball season was ever part of the plans...we're on track.

I don't think they wanted to start it before this BB season. I also think the construction on the Bush library has something to with the delay as well.

Yeah, I didn't expect the shovels to hit the ground a month before BB season. But I was curious about the progress in planning and fundraising the other $10 million. Maybe we'll get another announcement at some point during the season.
