OK....I was at that CIT game...i really thought Papa Dia got hammered and it was a legitimate foul....but tonight I was showing my friend some SMU videos that had close finishes and I looked up SMU and Jacksonville and I got this camera angle...

That was a clean block....

Watching it live and on the video board repeats..I thought it was obvious he got hacked...but this video shows there was no foul...watch around 1:15..

This whole angle made me feel real bad because the camera view is pretty much the view they had on the Jacksonville bench. At center court I did not see it that way and I yelled as loud as anybody about them being thugs and sore losers...

But now I feel bad...I just realized they got screwed..they won that game...

Cliff Warren coaches them, therefore its a team of thugs. Nobody wins or loses based on one foul call in hoops, you just hope the crappy calls even out. Lots of ops for both teams over the course of 40.

Look closely. Delwan Graham kneed Papa Dia in the back. Video proof here at 14:09 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge2aBrvt0WE

Besides the CORRECTLY called foul, the other thing I remember from that game was from the loud mouth girl who was screaming at the top of her lungs while the band played Varsity. Credit her with a piercing voice that could cut through the music.

Based on her actions alone, I felt nothing for Jacksonville in the way that game finished. That team's postgame conduct and its fans' postgame conduct were unspeakable. But given the nature of how those people behaved, I'm sure they felt justified in their behavior.

Sportsmanship is becoming a lost art.
