6th season and still losing to teams like this? I like the players he has brought in, but damn he can't coach.

What the heck do they do in practice?

Not practice free throws: 38.5%
Not run the offense: 15 turnovers
Not play defense: Give up 27 pts to one man

Stunned at the miserable FT shooting percentage.
I know we are still meshing and working new players in, but this is unacceptable.
I hope Orsini is serious about bball getting its act together.
Tonight might have been the final straw...

I have followed SMU athletics for many many years

BB has far more upside than FB and is an easier path.

This could be a lot of fun, instead we are left with another numbing loss

College basketball is dead in Dallas. SMU loses to 1-9 Jackson State, which has six losses by 24-plus points.

That couldn't be more true. Football's ceiling is so low by comparison, at least after rehabbing the job. At this point, it's time for a change.

Big East boards haven't mentioned the loss...yet.

Maybe that's because Cincinnati lost to Presbyterian earlier this year.

It happens.

Who gives a rats butt about what the Big East says. We need to take care of the inside of this house, not worry what the neighbors think of the current Christmas lights.

The Doh experiment must end. Dude is a good front man and has helped the program with fundraising, but his coaching abilities are simply not good enough. We lost to a 1-9 SWAC team? And we are going to the Big East in 2years??

Time for a fresh start. This is what happened at UNC. Doh recruited Felton, May, and others, but could not coach them. He was fired and Roy won a title with Doh's players.

Someone can do that here at SMU. The talent is there.

That was a very sad display of coaching last night.

Don't put this all on Doh monkey-man. I heard coach Doh scream to his players within the first five minutes of the game to cover #12! Should he have to also tell his div 1 college players to make their free throws?? Come on!!
