ORU thumped # 8 Xavier today buy 20 pts

Does that make our loss to them sting a little less?

Everyone beats everyone, and even the ballyhooed Big East has some bad bad losses. All that said, time to win some.

Keep in mind Xavier was missing about 4 players who were suspended in that fight against Cincinnati last week.

X was without 3 of its top 7 players due to the fight against UC. I suspect that a full X lineup would beat ORU pretty handily.

I hope the NCAA doesnt find out that an ineligible player has magically become one of "our rotation players". Clever disguise, sitting on the bench in street clothes.

Xavier was missing 3 starters against ORU, and ORU got their starting center back, who missed the SMU game. You're trying to compare apples to hand grenades. The lengths some of you will go to, to deceive yourselves, is truly impressive.

Nick Russell is ineligible this season due to NCAA transfer rules requiring transfer players to sit out a season.

Nobody is deceiving themselves, they are just making the point that comparative scores don't mean anything. Also, we haven't had 2 starters, and many on the staff thought Russell would clear this year, which would be a 3rd starter etc. None of it changes the fact we've been bad so far, so whatever
