I missed the first 10 minutes of the game, but Giles and Rob were really impressive (especially Rob in the 2nd half)...these two guys are really good players and I think as they go, our season goes.

I know Frog had quite a few assists , but I still don't think he should be running the show. At times the offense really stalled with him out there (especially when him and Losh are on the floor together). Not to mention, as it has been mentioned on here but Frog is such a defensive liability.

Would love to see a starting 5 that featured Manuel and Giles in the back court with Rob, Jalen Jones and Cannen. Shawn Williams and Leslee off the bench providing basically starters minutes coming in the front court with foul trouble or depending on who isn't playing well on a particular night. Frog can provide minutes off the bench to give our guards a rest. I just don't get Doh's love fest with Frog and Losh.

Frog runs the offense. Playing Losh though is strikingly similar to Harp was on offense for SMU. 4 on 5.

Just so you have my full perspective-

Frog- runs the offense, busts his tail, is far and away our best ball handler, and can penetrate the lane. he rightfully should be the starting PG in my mind, despite his lack of size.

Harp- was a complete non factor on offense in his time as SMU, no way around that. but a great hustle player, excellent defender, busted his tail, and did everything that was ever asked of him. he was a valuable player for SMU and I am proud to have him as an alum but I wouldn't show his offensive highlight reel to anyone, ever.

Losh- 24% from the field this season. 33% from the field last season. in my opinion he doesn't bring as many of the intangibles and defense that harp did. i don't doubt that he works very hard and does everything he is asked to do, i just think there are players that do more with the minutes they receive than Losh does.

Not sure why you are bringing up Paul McCoy.

I support this post. My main issue with Frog is he can throw down a no look pass that fakes out everyone . . . Including his teammates.

No one is questioning the character of Frog, Losh or Harp....or questioning how hard they work. What is being discussed is their talent level..yes, role players/hustle players are vital to every team's success, you just don't want that to be from a player who is a starting guard/guard getting serious minutes (losh).

Im sure he does what is asked of him and busts his tail, but that still doesn't make him a good defender. He does not have the foot speed to stay with athletic guards.

Frog is fine at the point if you are a middle of the road CUSA team, but we should expect more...especially with the talent around him and especially in the future as we move into the big east.

I always loved Harp. Hes not going to sell tickets but you always want someone like that on your team. In a perfect world, he shoots a higher percentage, but the non statline things are quite huge.

I don't know what Doh did to Harp, but he was scared to even look at the basket his last two seasons. You can't say he shot a high percentage because he didn't even shoot the ball. He did however hustle and play solid D.

Harp made some great defensive plays. Let's leave it at that.
