Jamal Branch to transfer..

from A&M. He was Turgeon's last 'big' recruit at A&M, so that means he's very familiar w/our recruit coordinator, Pooh Williamson. For those upset w/the PG play, something to chew on

Well without him last year we won 20 and we had our best conference record in the last six years. Nothing against Derek but who knows how we would have been without him. We will never know the answer to that question. Just know we didn't win 50 percent of our games in the league.
Nothing against Derek but he is averaging 1.8 points in the D League. He was a scoring point guard and glad we had him but wasn't an IMPACT player that enabled us to win 20 games and get to the CIT or NIT, etc.

But when you have a player like Branch's credentials, it's hard to ignore that.
We can agree that the PG position needs a major upgrade here.

OK, I might really start an uproar on this statement. Do you think players such as Jamal Branch transfer in high school to places like Grace Prep where they absolutely are the MAN and everyone is afraid to "get" on them and once they get to college and get some coaching and find out they are not perfect and the coach "yells, screams, and demands" things from them - well - they transfer again. THOUGHTS! One other thing to remember for the most part - the competition is really bad so he dominates.
Give me a touch hard-nose kid like our recruit from New York anyday or a Robert N. who just keeps working. Yea, he had a bad game against La. Tech but he will be back.
