On the bright side, we don't have the worst program in the US. Cannot imagine Doherty scouting intramural games or holding open tryouts.

lol @ Utah. SMU is closer to being very good than not. Not directed at you, but its amazing all the gripers we have around here, about a program that just played two high majors closer than any SMU team since the SWC. We have some bad losses early, but the team looks rapidly improving, if judging by our last week.

Gotta beat Tulsa, although that seems difficult lol

I just have had enough with Doherty. He has had six years.

Must say the players were impressive at OSU game.

My wife thinks we should get rid of doh because he looks angry all the time and she wouldn't want to try for an angry dude ...

Also when I said I was excited to play teams like Georgetown she came back with "and lose"

The truth hurts sometimes....

I get that everyone is sick of Doh, but let's not be snarky about the state of the program. He's going to leave it in good shape. Just take a macro view

Tulsa is tuff under the basket to score on.

For the record I love the players hes brought in. I just don't see the spark.

I also won't blame Doh or any coach for losing in the Big East for a couple years.

agree 100% and I am rooting for his success this year in C-USA, although I too get perplexed by his rotation / substitution patterns (there was a classic Youtube clip of him when we played at Marshall a couple of years ago that I can't find).

but as for 'Worst BB Program in US', how many schools have gone as long as we have without an NCAA BB tourney appearance? That has to be a very short list.

If I knew for 100% that Doh was gone I would be super excited about each win. As is, my first thought after a win is "will this save his job? Oh s**t!".

If the team can start figuring it out and win a respectable number of CUSA games, I can live with giving him another year with this class.
