Just got back from the UC/Syracuse game. Good game. SMU has a long way to go before we play on that leve. It is hard to believe that UC has a mid 90's ranking. I think that the one major difference with BE basketball is the intensity. Both of these teams were at each other the whole 40 minutes.

Need a few bruisers and athletic slashers. we have talent, and our system will [deleted] off the Big East, but they are so much tougher physically and off the bounce right now. It needs to be addressed. '13 class is going to be huge

We can play with Cinci. I think that their recruits are pretty similar to ours. It is the intensity of play that we are going to have to match.

Maybe it's our system but every single one of Cincinnati's players exuded a level of athleticism that I have yet to see from anyone on this team. Maybe we put our players on a leash but boy, the BE looks scary compared to what we are playing now.

There are better teams than Memphis in the Big East, but NO ONE has better athletes, or higher rated recruits. And yes, our system this year, tends to leash our athletes. It won't once they learn how to move with & w/o the ball, but its def a work in progress. We also need slashers and brusiers

I think that is the key right there. We have got to step it up a notch or two. The level of recruits we are getting is slowly getting better and better.

until we get over being scared of the paint like it's a forbidden zone, we'll have lots of trouble. We have been a soft team for years and years.
