Dino Gaudio

Postby texasmustang10 » Thu Feb 16, 2012 11:14 am

Can we start a campaign to hire Dino Gaudio? The guy was awesome at Wake Forest (44-18 in his last 2 seasons), got fired and replaced by a longtime friend of the Wake AD, Jeff Bzdelick. We have to start looking at big name coaches before we enter the big east

Dino was handed a nice roster when he took over after Prosser's unfortunate death but didn't recruit well at all. Plus, just look at his records when he was at West Point and Loyola. Never even sniffed a winning season at either.

He's better than Bzdelik, but that's not saying much.

He's a worse X & O/bench coach than Doh, and that's saying something. rumor about Paul Hewitt going around and he's the Black Doh. Orsini is over his head in hoops

Hewitt is in the first year of a five year contract at George Mason, at a $650K base and another $200-300K in incentives. He's not going anywhere soon.
