Rest of Season - What to Do?

If you were Doherty and facing the reality of the current season, would you:
1) keep doing what you have been doing; or
2) throw caution to the wind, drop the "Princeton," and play the rest of the games like the 2nd half against Marshall.

#2 sans dropping the "Princeton" since we've never run the Princeton to begin with. How's about "dropping the crazy Doh non-offense"

Start Manuel, high ball screen motion, let him drive & dish. Frog gets 10 minutes per

The one choice I'm looking for isn't on the survey.

post game presser was kind of funny. He was lost in his explanations.
Run the "44" or whatever the rest of the way. Let them have fun b/c you are fired pal.

These guys can't run the O obviously - only chance of winning that way is making over 50% of shots (especially from 3). TCU was the best played game of the year by far.

I am just a layman but i have to disagree. Frog is the leader of this team. His energy, heart and uptempo play were a big reason for the comeback against Marshall after DOH let the team play. Manuel played in the second half but did not do much. Frog drove the bus. I am sure Manuel is the more talented player both skillwise and size wise but Frog has more intangibles at least this year including leadership. The new coach can decide the role of these two players next fall. Now is not the time for a change.

Disagree as does much of the team. Don't get me wrong, their is a place for Frog, and he's more at home uptempo as well, but he's an awful perimeter defender, and rarely gets in the lane. He's a status quo kid w/no upside. We may not be better this year w/Manuel at the point, but his ceiling is immense comparatively, so you have to take your lumps.

Option 2.

I also wish the word Princeton would get changed to [deleted]!

You see...that's the thing. That offense, which is really a good one, has gotten a bad reputation on here because Doh calls his offense the "Princeton" when in fact it's not really the Princeton.

Exactly. I've seen the real Princeton take down some big boys in March...

That word has degenerated into such a crutch word around this program it kind of makes me sick to my stomach. Hopefully it is part of the past now.

If things do not change, the only way we will be able to compete in March is to bring back baseball.

Or Orsini could treat other sports well and build the track team a real facility so we can watch a meet every year or 10.

For the rest of the season: 30 minutes a game MINIMUM for Cunningham, Manuel and Jones. They abandoned the regular offense that mistakenly gets called the Princeton, and put up 54 points in a half. Go with that system until some team shows it can stop us. As hoopmanx said, the ceiling on these guys is high. Take the lumps and let them play.
