I can't imagine a scenario which doesn't involve Doh being fired at this point.

Is David Miller really ok with the state of this program in year six under Doherty?

There is no other option than to let Doherty finish the season, thank him for his time and move on.

The win-loss record, the morgue that Moody has become and speculation of a player revolt is too damaging. And with the re-modeling of Moody coming as well as the Big East, it is time to cut losses and go in a new direction.

Personally, I like Matt. But we can't go on like this, especially where BB is such an important factor in this conference. And if Orsini is incapable of pulling the trigger on this, then maybe he's the one who should be looking over his shoulder.

Unfortunately, it is not Steve O's decision to make. I trust he is rallying the real decision makers and getting them to Pony Up with even more money to rescue the program, fire Doh, and fix his poor business decision. What the heck was he thinking extending Doh's contract solely based on raising dough, not any on court measurement. Doh outsmarted everyone... including Orsini, and he'll be unemployed and laughing all the way to the bank.

I've heard the rumor that the money men are supportive of making a change. Can anyone confirm?

At this point you have to make a change! I'm really sorry it didn't work out, but it's time to move on to the next coach. Given time and perspective I think even Doherty would recognize that despite laying down a solid foundation he has failed to reach the level of play necessary to meet minimum expectations. It's too bad because he loves it here and is a great face for the program.

Ya think? I'd love it at Moody/Crum, too, if I was knockin' down 450,000.00 per.

He probably thinks everyone in Highland Park are [deleted] [deleted] who don't know [deleted] about football and that it is by far the worse [deleted] place you could every go to play high school football because who would want to play in front of stands that are full of [deleted] and [deleted]?

His son agrees.
