Brown fires its coach after 4 seasons. Impatient these days in the Ivy? And Winthrop fires its coach after 5 years on the job. In that time they had been to 2 or 3 NCAA tournaments. Big expectations at Winthrop, we'd kill for one NCAA appearance and if Doh did it he would have gotten a lifetime contract. This all should be fun to watch.

yeah, well maybe Doh can get a job at Brown or Winthrop. He might be a fit at Brown actually. Beware though, they don't have the patience of SMU.

Jim Baron got dismissed at Rhode Island on Sunday after 11 seasons and NO NCAA tournament appearances. I think he got URI to the NIT a few times and did produce a few 20-win seasons but I think they collapsed this season.

Things are rough in Rhode Island college hoops these days.

What's sorta scary about that is Baron can actually coach.

Well, you can add Illinois' Bruce Weber (not a surprise) and Nebraska's Doc Sadler (there was speculation that he was going to go AFTER 6 SEASONS) to the list.
