At this rate, we will never make it to the tourney. Not every team gets there.

Right now, every team in the Big East does play in the Garden. Not sure if that will change, once the new additions start play.

One of the craziest brackets you will ever see - with double-byes!

We probably won't need to worry about figuring out the details for a while unfortunately.

Living in Big East country, I am really looking forward to taking off a day to see SMU play at the Garden for the BE tourney.

In addition, I get free tickets to the BE women's tourney at the XL Center. While I don't like women's BB, I have a little girl and it will be fun to take her to the games.

Bottom Line: I am very happy with the BE move.

I am going to be the happiest guy in the world sitting in the Verizon Center watching Georgetown drill us by 40+.

Getting pounded by Georgetown is a lot better than losing to Arkansas Pine Bluff

Seeing my school play at the Garden in the Big East tourney will truly be a thrill for me. It will rank up there with seeing the Mavs play in the Finals last year. I just hope we are in a position to at least be competitive in 2013-2014. There's A LOT of work to do.

If you're watch this tournament -- I'm watching a great game between Georgetown and Cincinnati in double overtime right now -- it just shows how far we have to go in order to get this program looking halfway decent.

I hope Orsini, RGT and other SMU power brokers are watching this tournament and realize what has to be done so we aren't a laughingstock. We are SO not ready for this conference in hoops.

These guys are beasts in the middle with great rebounding and shot blocking. Frog would get eaten up all day.

You're not kidding, General. I didn't see the OT game earlier but I'm watching the Louisville/Marquette game now and they play at such a high level. SO's next decision will likely be the biggest in the history of our hoops program.

In the past not every team would get to MSG. Usually the bottom 4 were left out. I noted a different format this year whereby some teams get 1 bye game and the top 4 teams get 2 bye games Looks like everyone gets into the tournament.
