Still the same renderings that we had before the season. I'm excited about the new facility - those renderings look amazing.

We really don't need a capacity anywhere near that large. If we start drawing full houses and need more, the AAC would probably be available.

Since they don't really need a capacity that large, bringing it down a bit is a smart move. It appears they are sacrificing some of the total capacity for amenities and/or handicapped accessible seating. For example, the bleacher seats have been totally eliminated in the rendering.

I am hoping they create a "fun" student close to the court.

Agree. UConn's arena only holds 8200.

And when they need more, they play at the arena in downtown Hartford

I live in the Hartford area. For bigger games, UConn moves home games to the XL Center in Hartford.

Many of the BE schools have an on campus arena in the 5-8K range and use the city arenas like MSG when the can fill the place.

Does this mean that the sparse, over-priced, scruff league, middle school quality concessions and concessions provider will be upgraded also?
