Wow. You get out of a terrible program that is going to get it absolutely handed to them in the Big XII and land in a job at a school that made the Sweet 16?

Does anybody know if SO even contacted the likes of a Frank Martin or John Groce? Interesting all of these changes and we don't seem to be in the mix on any of them.

He was at Kent before he came to TCU and was successful there. I talked with a TCU friend of mine last night about Christian (we had no idea this was coming down) and he knew that if they canned Christian, they were going to pressed to find a quality candidate because Daniel-Meyer is awful.

Their practice facility is pretty solid.

I think Christian knew he had to get going and so the wins over UNLV and New Mexico and a couple of rounds in the CBI (plus his MAC background) probably made it right.

Good point. I forgot they had a couple of nice results late in the season. Sounds like the perfect time for him to cash in!

I would like to think we are the more attractive job - but I'm obviously extremely biased.

DFFH- I think we are all biased- at least I hope so when it comes to our university. However, I suspect many of these coaches would prefer to be 'hustled' by us rather than contacting us about our open position.

Redpony ----SO has been in contact with everyone, including Martin before he took the K State job and is working in conjunction with all of our SMU basketball contacts...its being worked hard...WTF?
