Why is this only reported at small private schools? I would say Baylor got decidedly better results than we did.

I find humor in that the article was written by a Baylor grad.

Aren't these similar violations that Doherty got his hand slapped for last year?

Baylor basketball has walked on the wild side for decades. Murder, dope dealing, payoffs. Makes our little scandal look run of the mill.

Baylor is not too far removed from the Dave Bliss living death penalty they got. Only conference away games. If any of these violations occurred while they were on probation for the Bliss era stuff, then they are death penalty eligible (for both men's and women's hoops). I think this is the tip of the iceberg and when its over, they'll be hit hard.

In SMU's case, it was "fewer than 100 texts."
http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/colleg ... etball.eceIn Baylor's case, it was "more than 1,200 impermissible phone calls and text messages."
