What ever came of the Cameron Dollar idea?

I'd guess the powers that be wouldn't be interested in his 40-49 overall coaching record.

Really sad when you have to settle for second quality second tier coaches. Maybe we should just stay in CUSA. Frustrating when coaches like Theus and Amaker refuse to consider you and then think about going to a trash school like lsu - a cajun community college.

Right, except for the fact that he built that record basically starting from ground zero, and everything I have heard is that he is viewed within coaching circles as a young, dynamic coach who can coach and recruit like crazy. Seems he should be worth considering.

The powers that be don't have any grasp of the big picture. The man transitioned Seattle from D2. He'd do very well here and has Nike at his back. Great candidate, like so many others, that didn't even receive a call in month 1.

So hoops- any chance they might contact him in month 2?

The "powers that be" have really pushed us into a corner. Cameron, Sutton, Jacobsen, Jones, all really good options. But if they get an invite to the party, they are miffed because of how we handled the search and handcuffed them on timing. And the media/recruits are going to think we settled for these guys when this is who we should have gone for right after buzz.

doubtful. That would mean falling on their sword. Money men need to step up and say we don't trust you, Steve O & RGT. Here's who we'll fund, and provide a realistic list

I sense people are jumping off the Steve O. bandwagon as we speak. Doesn't the accountability start and stop with him, or is he a mere puppet to the money guys/donors? Also, it's my sense that RGT is letting Orsini do his job. As much as I love the program, the bottom line is we are too close to it and have a higher and unrealistic opinion of how the HC job is perceived. It's not as attractive as we think... except for the dollars.

I am not proposing that this is the answer - but I am curious - Why is this guy never on anyone's list, while the guy at Harvard gets courted? Making under 500k at Belmont.

NCAA Tourney appearances in 4 of last 7 years...637-330 overall record.
