He likes the hire since Brown's last 2 pro jobs did not end well. Said that this is a good chance for him to end on a good note.

Smith is loud and obnoxious but usually hits the nail on the head. He is also surprisingly conservative politically.

I enjoyed the part about SMU making the NCAA tournament within a couple of years. Also Smith's reference to Brown coming to SMU as "beautiful".

first thing I thought of yesterday when Reali finished PTI by talking about Brown and Wilbon and Kornhesier both sounded excited and happy for him.

Best things about the Brown hire--
No health insurance and no need to buy banquet tickets to his Hall of Fame induction...
