Larry Brown and SMU have officially reached an agreement to make him the school's men's basketball coach, according to a source.

Of course people have been saying this for about a week. But she has been reporting all the hick ups along the way, so hopefully this is correct.
Will follow Laken and let you know when it is official.

SMU is currently on probation until March 2013 for impermissible text messages to parents of recruits.
Don't think we have to worry about this with LB. I wonder if he even knows what a text message is? Seriously though, I really hope this is a done deal and we see the Presser announcement shortly.

Kate says its official. I thought the board would be a little more happy than this. Guess they are waiting on laken.
